We got to Hong Kong today at about 11:00 a.m. We didn't have a chance to get any good pictures yet so we decided to include her big day on the potty - potty trained at 10 months - Her Nanny did a GREAT job!

Today we took the oath at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou. This means that Taylor finished the last step in China towards becoming a U.S. citizen. She will actually become a U.S. citizen when we pass through customs at O'Hare.

We arrived at the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou last night about midnight. We were so happy to get here. Taylor was a little "loud" on the plane. The man next to me asked to move - too bad - no extra seats on the flight! Today we went for Taylor's VISA picture at 8:00 a.m. - should be a great picture!#% At 10:00 a.m. we went to the medical facility for her physical. She passed with flying colors except for a place she has been scratching on the back of her neck. She was really good although you wouldn't know it from this picture!

We were finally able to VIEW the BLOG today - thanks to everyone for the the Comments - it makes you feel like you are not quite so far away. We will be home on December 12, 2005 at 11:35 a.m. and we leave China at 11:30 a.m. to get there - my how time will fly on that 14 hour flight!

Tonight we say goodbye to Changsha and take a 9:30 p.m. flight for Guangzhou to meet with the U.S. Consulate. The Dolton Hotel in Changsha did a nice job of getting us in the Christmas spirit!

Today we got lost 2 blocks away from our hotel in the pouring rain - Only Taylor liked the adventure! Here is a picture of the entire group at the orphanage yesterday - because everyone looked pretty bad today after being drenched.

Today we visited both the orphanage where Taylor was raised and her finding spot. The orphanage was incredible - incredibly clean, everyone cheerful, on a quiet street. We were able to see her little crib and meet her nanny who is a wonderful person. She wanted to give Taylor one last bottle. We then went to the bank where Taylor was found.
